Research Interests

  • Trend analysis of global sea surface temperature in the early 21st century using MODIS remote sensing and ECMWF climate models.
  • Combining field study, satellite remote sensing, and climate models to assess the trends of marine blue carbon uptake in specific marine areas for establishing multivariate marine blue carbon prediction models.
  • The application of carbon credits from forest carbon uptake and marine carbon uptake under Taiwan's Climate Change Response Act.

  • Establishment of multivariate non-linear forest carbon prediction models using FLUXNET carbon observation network and environmental drivers.
  • Trend analysis of global land temperature changes in the early 21st century using MODIS remote sensing and the ECMWF climate models.
  • Trend analysis of global land diurnal temperature range in the early 21st century with forecast for the next 30 years using MODIS remote sensing and CMIP6 climate models.
