The Alumni Association of Department of Marine Environment and Engineering
January 24 is annual “The Alumni Association of Department of Marine Environment and Engineering” and OB Games. Many graduated seniors came back to our school in order to participate in these exciting activities and recalled their wonderful memories. In the morning, the president of the Alumni Association and the captains of each department’s teams reported their current situation. In the afternoon, there are OB Games, which everyone is extremely looking forward to.
OB Games are good opportunities for graduated seniors to have games with us together, and each department’s teams can also demonstrate their results of training for a semester. Speaking of softballs, though the juniors lost the games in the end. However, the senior of 93, Jun-long Chen still gave the juniors two softballs bats generously, hoping that the juniors can become better than before and passing on this meaningful tradition. Speaking of badmintons, while swinging the rackets, the seniors and the juniors broke their generation gap. No matter how the result was, they can make friends with each other. Speaking of volleyballs, the seniors showed their great skills and won many games. Later, the seniors trained their juniors’ abilities of catching the balls. Speaking of basketballs, the juniors displayed their skills of daily practice while playing balls. At the same time, juniors learned many skills about basketballs from their seniors.
Though many seniors have graduated for many years and we didn’t know each other before. However, the seniors and the juniors can break their generation gap and build good relationship between all of us because of the OB Games. From freshmen, masters to graduated seniors, the whole members of the Department of Marine Environment and Engineering hands in hands, hoping to passing down this lovely friendship forever.
